Can you believe it is the end of another month? The time just seems to fly by…
Halloween to me always signifies the beginning of the holiday season…everywhere you look there are decorations. Each year it seems to get a little bit earlier. Doesn’t it? Or is it just me?
In addition to preparing for the holiday season, real estate agents in the south are also gearing up for our “other” season. The influx of “snowbirds” arriving is already evident by the out-of-state plates seen driving south along the interstate. I haven’t finished my month end reports yet, but by the looks of things, after a cursory review, I’d say we are in for a good season. [Once done I will post the results of the October figures]. Inventory is down, rates are still low, the banks seems to be getting a handle on the short sale process, and there is a pent up demand looming over Naples that we haven’t seen in several years. Our website inquiries are up, compared to last October a 400% increase!
