Collier County Museums

Posted on June 04, 2021

Do you want to know what I think is one of the best deals in town? Did you know that Collier County Museums offer five diverse locations where you can explore the history of Southwest Florida? Did you know the entrance fee to each museum is FREE?! Yes, free admission, free education programs, free lectures, free exhibits! So whether you are interested in learning more about the past at the Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch [about an hour’s drive from downtown Naples], or perhaps you want to view the ancient Indian artifacts at the Marco Island Museum, including the Marco Cat…Or the Naples Depot where the past comes alive in photos and chronological timelines starting pre-1886! You can find and discover some amazing views into the Naples of yesteryear. *The postcard attached is one of dozens you can see at the museums and online!

My personal favorite is the museum in Everglades City. Rich in colorful history, the town’s beginning is very interesting and well worth the drive…some of the original Collier Town Bungalows built in the 1920’s are still standing.

You can check out the well-developed website at www.CollierMuseums.com or call 1-239-252-8476 to learn about upcoming events.

Take sometime during your stay to enjoy this wonderful treasure.
Thanks and make it a GREAT Day,
